Rant about 6-changer Quickswitch Autobot

I love the idea of a six changer (of course - my fave ever TF is triple-changer Astrotrain) but every mode basically looks like a random pile of plastic lego. I mean, you could just say Starscream is a 6-changer and put a bunch of phases on the box called things like "bent-over jet" ... Hasbro were trying to claw back their dwindling Transformers line as their original grew into video games and TMNT took over the attention of their new target age group. Ok, this is just a rant (I don't own this toy) so feel free to tell me where to go, but this is the point for me where the G1 universe jumps the shark.
