Firefly

I never got the Cobra Island exclusive version of Firefly. It was definitely a cool-looking figure, but to me, the concussion vest and armor struck me as more of a bomb disposal expert’s look than Cobra’s preeminent saboteur. Yeah, it makes sense for someone who works that much with explosives to protect himself, but Firefly—to me—has always been about stealth. That’s why he looks so much like the original Snake Eyes (setting aside the ‘90s retcon that he was part of the Arashikage ninja clan). So anyway, yeah, I was thrilled to learn they were making a more classic-inspired version. This figure is fantastic and his accessories are so fun. The perfect Firefly, in my opinion.
