“One strike from my tail… and the battle is over.” 💥 Here’s Whiplash, the reptilian brute of Skeletor’s evil warriors. This Masterverse New Eternia version really impressed me when it first released — especially with his purple armour — but as the line has evolved, it’s started to feel a little dated in comparison. I ended up removing the armour, and it’s definitely helped. Now, his scaly green hide and hulking frame stand out more — especially with Beast Man’s toothy bat in hand and that rubbery tail snaking behind him, ready to lash out. In MOTU lore, Whiplash hails from Subternia, Eternia’s dark underworld. A creature of the caverns, he proved invaluable to Skeletor during his attempt to breach Castle Grayskull from below. But his betrayal of his Caligar brethren has made returning to the underworld dangerous. Hopefully one day we’ll get a refreshed version that truly does this underworld enforcer justice. ⚔️ Another villain rising from the depths for my #MastersOfMyUniverse!
